Overall stay was relaxing and comfortable
Breakfast wasn't that great but for the price we paid, that was ok
choice of pillows, and a clean room.
No pancakes, I like the old style cinn. rolls.
Breakfast and quiet room
My initial room was on ground floor and had a heavy mold odor, but they moved to 2nd floor which took care of problem.
Someone actually tried to get in my room at 10:30p, upon check in the desk clerk was as rude as anyone I've ever encountered, I think I interrupted her lunch of Taco Bell and tv watching in the lobby. She seemed very put out by my having to check in. Later in the evening I went to the counter to get change for vending machine, a second clerk was very nice and receptive, and then the rude one ran out of the back and at almost a scream, WE DONT HAVE ANY CHANGE! Soooo, the nice one said sorry can't help you. Needless to say I went to the hotel next door and received change at their front desk. The next morning I told of the experience to the manager on duty, who with a smirk smile said, "sorry, it happens." It happens? I asked that my comments be told to the GM and that I would like to receive a call from them to discuss. Still waiting on that call. I'm a very lenient guy and hey, stuff happens, but I was SURE they would at least make an attempt to correct things or at the very least show some empathy. I am also in a customer service based business, never in my life have I experienced such inadequate "not my job" type attitude from a hotel staff.
